And this morning's impromptu tomato harvest got collected in my udi (Kannada for lower portion of a garment that could be gathered like a basket/bowl and used to collect stuff)
Rohan sowing peas...
Sowing peas...
Levelling the soil...
Today's small fun-project with small curd tubs...
Took off the wrappers...
Sketched faces. Sheetal sketching a face on her tub...
Bhuvan concentrating on his sketch...
Rohan adding final touches to the face on his tub...
Adding the potting mix that they had prepared day-before-yesterday...
Adding the potting mix that they had prepared day-before-yesterday...
And yes, it's mustard that they sowed in the tubs...
Working together...
Working together...
Sowed densely...
Covering the seeds with a thin layer of potting mix...
Sheetal's tub with the "Hitler" moustache...!
Bhuvan's tub...!
Rohan's tub...!
My tub...!
All watered and sitting pretty in the middle of the beans and moolangi/radish patch...
And the next project...
Mixing up young methi plants into the soil that was grown as a cover crop and sowing Bhendi/ladies finger in this patch...
Rohan sowing his share of Bhendi/Ladies finger seeds...
Sheetal dropping her Bhendi/Ladies finger seed into the little holes...
Bhuvan taking care to drop the seeds right into the centre of the hole...!
And there are, my sweet little monkeys, doing what they love doing the best !! Clambering onto the mesh roof to tame the now-wild yard-long bean creepers...
...and have a bit of fun !!
The yard-long beans are clambering all over like wild and adding a unfettered charm to my LGP.
