I
am more than thrilled to see Bhendikaayis/Okra growing well in my
ground garden. Lost many seedlings to the crazy rains and those super
crazed bandicoots. But I am more than fortunate to have at least half a
dozen or so plants that managed to survive and are showing me how
determined they are...
This is the first time in a long time that I will be able to collect more than a couple of Bhendikaayis as part of a harvest. And as a tribute to my gritty Bhendikaayis, this evening, instead of training my lens, I picked up my sketching pen and captured one of them Bhendikaayi plants in my sketch book...
